Author Fawn Young will be hosting a book signing at the Santa Claus Museum on Saturday, December 10 from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. She will be signing and selling her children’s chapter book "The Legend of the Old Man".

Ho Ho Ho...the Santa Claus Museum renovation is complete! We invite the community to our Spring Open House to view our newest Santa collection, donated by Kay Potter. The museum will be open Wednesday, May 17 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Admission is free and all are welcome!

CHPT is proud to present the newest class of Magnolia Belles to the community during the 2023 Magnolia Days Festival. The public is invited to join us in the Grand Hall of the Stafford Opera House on Friday, May 19 at 7:00 p.m. and on the Courthouse lawn on Saturday, May 20 at 1:00 p.m. for our official Belle presentations. Join us for the 2023 Magnolia Days Festival and celebrate Columbus' 200th birthday! CHPT will have a booth on the Courthouse Square on Saturday, May 20, from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and we invite the community to stop by for a free photo in our fun photo booth! While there, learn more about our upcoming Seasons of Colorado County photo book project and all of the other exciting things CHPT has planned for the year.

During the 2023 Magnolia Days Festival, guests may take a self-guided walking tour or guided shuttle tour to view many of Columbus’ historic properties.
